We are delighted to announce the opening of an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) class this September 2020 in Charleville CBS secondary school. The new educational space comprises of a state-of-the-art classroom, purposely designed to support children with ASD, who are experiencing, or would experience, difficulty in a mainstream class setting, to access the curriculum and maximise their potential for learning and personal development. It will cater for a maximum of six students. It includes a fully fitted kitchen, ASD workstations, a quiet area with beanbags, interactive whiteboard and general work space. The teachers at Charleville CBS continuously have the best interests of their students at heart and with the addition of this new classroom, they will be able to cater for those that need it most, helping them to grow and develop through education and meet their full potential.
